REPORTS TO THE BOARD
Student Representative Report Katie Longrie reported that the High School Prom is scheduled for June 2 at Lakeside Gardens, Portland. Miracle League is June 2 from 8:00-12:00pm. The "W" Club will be playing baseball with special needs kids. Katie reports that there are several volunteers for this event. The primary school is gearing up for the talent show and intermediate school students have been MSP testing.

SUPERINTENDENT REPORT
Michael Green said he had no items to report at this time.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Financing Options for Energy Grant Mark Prussing, Senior managing Consultant, Public Financial Management, Inc.. presented financing options for the Energy Grant. Contact has been made with several banks to solicit formal bids. A Public Hearing on non-voted debt will be held May 29th at the School Board Meeting. Board members agreed with proceeding to pursue bond borrowing for the Energy Grant.
Bond Sale PlanningMark Prussing, Senior managing Consultant, Public Financial Management, Inc. presented an outline of the bond issue goals, next steps, and timeline of schedule events.
Summer Board Retreat PlanningOne day retreat will be held August 13, 2012. Jim Bays & Michael Green will plan the location and agenda. Board members plan to cancel the first board meeting in August.
Scheduling of Yale Board MeetingA board meeting to be held at Yale will take place in the Fall, tentatively the first meeting in October.
Yale Architect InterviewsSeveral architects have expressed an interest in the Yale building project. The committee will conduct interviews Monday, May 21, 2012 or Friday May 25, 2012.

Shalisha Traffie sent a letter to the board showing appreciation for the passage of the bond.

Accept Recommendations for Special Consultants and Engineers for bond related projects
Bill Woodard moved to accept the superintendent's recommendation for special consultants, as presented; and that the superintendent be authorized to negotiate and sign contracts, on the boards behalf, for necessary services with these firms.
Approval of Ed Specifications Agreement with McGranahan
Janice Watts moved to approve the agreement of the agreement between McGranahan Architects and Woodland Public Schools for the development of Educational Specifications, as presented.
