TalkingPoints is our new district-wide communication tool designed to streamline messaging between teachers, administrators, and families.

• How it works: You can communicate solely through text messaging, or download the TalkingPoints app for enhanced features—such as the ability to view communications sent to other guardians.
• Getting started: Keep an eye out for an invitation from your student’s teacher.
• Keep your info current: To ensure you receive these messages, please verify that your cell phone number is correct in Skyward. If your number has changed, you can update it via Skyward Family Access or by calling your school office.

FAQs

• Can family members see each other's communications to a teacher?
  Yes, as long as you are using the app and set up 'Shared Messaging'. See this article for how to set it up.
• The app is asking me for a "class code", where do I get that?
  This means we have the wrong phone number for you in Skyward. If it's asking for a code it doesn't recognize you. Please see above for how to update your details with us.
• How can I switch back to just receiving text messages after using the app?
  You must log out of the app before you delete it from your phone, then TalkingPoints will automatically go back to sending you text messages. See this article for help.
