Welcome to Nuestra Comunidad!

Last Updated: Wednesday, May 12, 2021

This website will be home to a variety of resources and outreach programs specifically designed for our growing Latino population. We want to ensure we are meeting the needs of your family and students.

If you have suggestions, feedback, or need assistance, please send an email to nuestracomunidad@woodlandschools.org. Our team who reviews emails sent to this address do speak Spanish and will respond in-kind if that is your preferred primary language.

Latino Drive-Thru Resource Fair on May 15

Join us for a free drive-thru Resource Fair on Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Columbia Elementary School (located at 600 Bozarth Ave, Woodland, WA 98674).

All families will be provided with a bag of resources as well as a free ticket to enter our raffle for great prizes (drawing will be performed later and winners will be contacted).

Importantly, we want to hear how we can better serve our Latino community so you will be provided with a survey. All survey responses can be submitted anonymously as it is vital for us to learn how we can provide the resources you and your family needs.

In your free resource bag, you will find information about:

  • Community College Programs
  • English Language Classes (ELL)
  • Health and Dental Care
  • Financial Resources
  • Latino Community Organizations
  • Legal Assistance
  • Mexican Consulate Information (the Mexican Consulate helps all Latinos, not just Mexican citizens)

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 15!
