Students at TEAM High School just finished taking the Biology and Math End-Of-Course Exams. Students reported that they were difficult and they struggled. In math next year TEAM High School students will be completing a Collection of Evidence along with the coursework in Algebra and Geometry. This way if the student doesn't pass the End-Of-Course Exam for that course they can then submit a Collection of Evidence to the state. This will give the students two opportunities to fulfill criteria set by the state.
APEX trains staff at least one time per year. TEAM High staff will be attending the training on June 12. We learn what has been added and what has been simplified to make the program more user-friendly. Mark Knudson is our lead teacher who can answer questions before, during and after the trainings. Having his expertise in our district is priceless. We are very fortunate to have Mark in our district.
