Re: CTE - New Classes
Career Choices has been added to our opportunities for students. This course will give students the opportunity to develop skills that employers look for in a quality employee. In addition, the students will spend time through job shadows, as well as virtual internships to gain real-world industry experience. This course will be a partnership between our school and Partners in Careers to connect our students with the necessary workforce skills to be successful - regardless of the career pathway they choose.
Introduction to Construction Trades is another new class this year. This course provides students with an overview of the building and construction trades sector, which emphasizes processes, systems, and the way in which structures are built. It also provides students with insight into the different pathways available within the sector and the different career opportunities associated with each pathway.
