CALL TO ORDER
President Watts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
CITIZENS REQUESTS TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
There were no citizen requests to comment on non-agenda items.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Director Beuscher moved to approve the minutes from August 23, 2018, August 27, 2018, and September 10, 2018.

REPORTS TO THE BOARD
Student Representative Report
Hannah Landrigan provided a written board report to the directors. She highlighted the WHS hot topics, things that are going well, upcoming events and current events. The directors stated their appreciation for the details Hannah provided.
BOARD REPORTS, REQUESTS AND COMMENTS
Director Madsen attended the WSSDA Legislative Assembly on September 21-22 and shared details from the event. He also provides the directors with a list of the legislative priorities based on the feedback from the other directors and Superintendent Green. He suggested the list of legislative priorities be published and communicated to the public.
Director Madsen also informed the school board that the WSSDA Regional Meeting would be at WHS library at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26th. Lastly, the first trust fund meeting was held on Monday, September 24th.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Projected Growth in City of Woodland
City of Woodland Community Development Director, Travis Goddard, presented information on potential growth and reopening the Woodland Comprehensive Plan. The information will help the school board have a better understanding of the expected growth and potential impact on the school district. The six growth scenarios and details for expansion of the growth boundaries can be found on the board agenda.
First Reading WSSDA Recommended Policy Updates
With no objections, the policies will be presented for second reading and approval at the next month’s board meeting.

Director Beuscher moved to approve the Second Reading and Approval of Policy Revisions to 5410, 6000 and 6100 as presented.
