RE: Yale Elementary Report
March is an exciting month for students at Yale! We begin the month with Read Across America Day. Our district leaders and I will read to each class and spend some time watching them enjoy reading.
We have also partnered with the FVRL! Beginning this Thursday Yale students will walk across our field and through a gate (installed by our maintenance crew) to attend the library. Students will have the opportunity to learn about public library expectations, create an art project and check out books. Our students will visit the library one time per month.
The theme of the month is reading and we are offering a March Reading Challenge! Students who meet the goal, based on how many books they have read, will earn an ice cream sundae party.
