REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMENTS BY THE BOARD MEMBERS

Director Stuart asked about the progress of a survey for families and staff. Superintendent Green is still working on a draft and will send it to the school board directors soon.

Director Graham wants to make sure the Hope Squad has a diversified group of representatives.

Superintendent Green and the other Directors thanked Tammy Graham for her service and let her know that she would be very missed as a school board member.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

Improving School Air Quality through DHP and HVAC Technology

Scott Landrigan introduced the TRANE team of experts, who then provided a very detailed presentation. The board asked clarifying questions. More information included cost benefits and budget will come back to the board at a later time.

School Board Meeting Protocols: Realigning Roberts Rules for Small Boards & Additional Training Opportunity

The directors agreed to require a second motion and would like Ms. McFarlane to provide a three (3) hour training at the January workshop on the effective use of Robert’s Rules.
