I finished the year-end Financial Statements (F-196) last month and have put together a PowerPoint presentation that we will be running through at the board meeting on Thursday. I also included the full F-196 document for you to review. Please bring your questions to the meeting.
I included the September and October Budget Status reports for all funds (pages 1-9), as required by RCW. I reviewed and all looks to be in order. I compared the year-to-date revenues and expenditures as a percentage of the budget for each month to September and October of 2019. This was the last year when we had a “normal” school start. We have actually collected a higher percentage of revenues (16.8% vs 15.6%) and spent considerably less through October 31, 2021 (17.4% vs. 18.7%). I am working with ForeCast5 to build our 21-22 models so I can begin working on projections for this year. I don’t have that information yet, but will at the second January meeting, along with Budget Status reports from November and December.
December enrollment is not due to OSPI until Wednesday, so I will have December and January enrollment numbers for you at the January meeting. The early, one meeting month throws a curveball at us every year!
