Culinary Arts, ECE, and SkillsUSA:
Culinary Art students have been learning the basics of thickening sauces and soups. They have made different dishes with rouxs, stir fry thickened with cornstarch slurry, and this week are working on reduction sauces.
ECE students have been working on what children learn through art and how to write lesson plans that include objectives, learning targets, scaffolding, and ways to incorporate multiple types of learning.
SkillsUSA This past week, all CTSO State Officers met with legislators to promote CTSOs. Caleb Mouat was chosen to present for SkillsUSA and he did an amazing job. Our State Director, Terri Lufkin, was very impressed with the job he did.
Our Regional Competitions have just ended and Woodland students represented very well. Bringing home three Gold medals and one Silver!
They competed virtually in our regional competition and the results are:
