Fall Sports

Woodland Middle School

MS Football

  1. 8th record (8-0 league)
  2. 7th record (2-4 league)
    1. Finished season strong with tremendous growth

MS Volleyball

  1. 8th record (2-8 league)
  2. 7th record (4-6 league)
    1. Finished season strong with big wins over Hockinson and View Ridge.
  3. Blended record (2-8 league)
    1. Officials commented on the growth of all three of our teams from beginning to end.

MS Soccer

  1. Green record (2-7-1 league)
  2. Yellow record (4-6 league)
    1. Both teams had a lot of first year players that showed a lot of growth and are excited to come back next year.

Combined

MS/HS Cross Country

  1. 45 athletes are participating from the high school and 11 from the middle school.
    1. League Championships are Thursday, Oct. 24 at Hockinson. Our middle school will be running in this event as well.
    2. District Championships are Thursday, Oct. 31st at Lewis River Golf Course. We are hosting this event again this year.
      1. The potential for sending a boys team to state for the first time ever in 2A is there according to the numbers.

MS/HS Boys’ Golf

  1. Varsity record (5-1 league, 8-1 overall)
    1. We finished the season as co-league champions.
  2. We had two members of our team finish top 5 at the league championships
  3. District Championships are Oct. 23 and 24

Woodland High School

HS Football

  1. Varsity record (1-3 league, 1-6 overall)
    1. It has been a rough season… injuries and lack of depth have made things challenging.
  2. JV
    1. We have had to cancel our last two games of the season due to injuries and lack of numbers program wide.

HS Volleyball

  1. Varsity record (5-4 league, 7-4 overall).
    1. Varsity won the Monarch Challenge Invitational
    2. We are currently in 3rd place.
  2. JV record (1-8 league, 1-10 overall).
  3. JV2 record 1-8 league, 1-9 overall). 

HS Girls’ Soccer

  1. Varsity record (1-8 league, 5-8 overall)
    1. Our team continues to improve – just stuck in a really tough league.
  2. JV record (2-5-1 league, 3-7-2 overall)

  2. Winter 1 sports (girls basketball, co-ed wrestling) begin for our middle school on Monday, Oct. 28.
  3. Winter sports begin for high school on Monday, November 18.
