Re: Yale Elementary
As you know, Miss Cortez is taking a long term leave and recently we learned we have another member of our Yale team, Ms. Taylor, is going to be taking a long term leave as well. Fortunately, their leaves are not at the same time, however, they will be taking back to back leaves from their positions that will require coverage through the end of the year. Because Yale is a unique learning environment and a distance from town, we have been working hard to find a quality sub willing to fill the long term absences. I am pleased to announce Leanne Tevlin will join the Yale staff as a long term substitute and serve in both classrooms. She is a Yale valley resident who recently completed her teaching certification program and came highly recommended to us. Upon interviewing her and observing her working with students at Yale in Miss Cortez’s classroom, we are confident she will do a wonderful job. In order to support the transition, we have brought Leanne in to work alongside Miss Cortez until she goes on leave.
