Board Policy 1310 "Policy Adoption, Manuals and Administrative Procedures" states:
"In the event that immediate action on a proposed policy is necessary, the motion for its adoption will provide that immediate adoption is in the best interest of the district. No further action is required. All new or amended policies will become effective upon adoption, unless a specific effective date is provided in the motion for adoption."
The recision of Policy 6957 is presented for consideration and action at first reading, as it is in conflict with current policy 6950. Policy 6957 was deleted from the WSSDA recommended policies as the Change order policy was imbedded in Policy 6950. Policy 6950 is the same as WSSDA recommended policy 6950.
