School Improvement Focus
Our most recent Professional Learning Community (PLC) session focused on collaboratively enhancing our writing instruction. Grade-level teams began by creating visual anchor charts, highlighting their primary learning standards for various writing areas. This was followed by cross-grade discussions where teams shared pedagogical approaches for covering these standards. Moving forward, teams will collect student writing exemplars, which will be used to calibrate grading and serve as instructional models.
