School Improvement Work and Recognition:

We wanted to recognize the gains we are seeing with our 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math/ELA Fall and Winter iReady Diagnostic Data. Here are some of our highlights from this year.
5th Grade - Students At or Above Grade Level
Math - Fall 20% to Winter 36%
ELA - Fall 28% to Winter 34%

6th Grade - Students At or Above Grade Level
Math - Fall 27% to Winter 41%
ELA - Fall 30% to Winter 41%
7th Grade - Students At or Above Grade Level
Math - Fall 24% to Winter 29%
ELA  - Fall 31% to Winter 42%
8th Grade - Students At or Above Grade Level
Math - Fall  22% to Winter 28%
ELA - Fall 32% to Winter 34%
As we celebrate these achievements, let's acknowledge the collective dedication, collaboration, and resilience within our school community. Together, we're not just transforming numbers; we're shaping futures and empowering our Trojans to achieve their fullest potential. To our Trojan teachers and paraeducators: your passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to student success are the driving forces behind these remarkable gains. Upcoming Events: 
Save the Date for our WMS Production of Cinderella
June 1st & 2nd @ WHS!
Thank you to Ronda Oathes and Kelley Foyt (and so many staff helpers) for supporting the casting and roll out of this future production of Cinderella. We had tons of involvement from our elementary and middle school students, that came out to audition for the play. All said and done, we had 58 students come out and audition for the play! Thank you also to WHS for being instrumental in making this happen!
Classified Employee Appreciation Week is coming up the week of 3/11. Thank you to all of our amazing Classified Employees and the impact they make on all of our students.
