President Watts called the meeting to order at 6:18 p.m.

Brandy Jackson made public comment on the consent agenda and shared her dislike for the exemptions and vaccine mandate that led to the termination of employees.

WORKSHOP
State of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the District Response
This large topic covered the following topics: state of COVID in SW Washington, symptoms tracking, contact tracing, COVID testing, athletics, the vaccine mandate, facilities impacts and responses, schools’ impact and responses, and much more. The following district leaders presented the topics to the directors: Michael Green, Asha Riley, Vicky Barnes, Kerri Six, Nicole Galloway, Paul Huddleston, Scott Landrigan, David Starkey, James Johnston, Angela Campbell, and Phillip Pearson. The board of directors asked questions throughout the presentation.
The following attendees made public comments after the completion of the workshop in dislike of the vaccine mandate, masking requirements, athletic quarantines, and the inconsistencies, and much more: Gabe Huston, Tony Parsons, Ashley Schang, Katie Huston, Steve Neibler, Gina Sanders, Molly Malinowski, Amy Tallbut, Tracy Renfro, Trish Huddleston, Donnie Renfro, and Brandy Jackson.
Kathleen Bottemiller shared her support of the vaccine and how it could impact the students she serves.
RECESS
The study session was recessed at 10:03 p.m. to enter into executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i).
ADJOURNMENT
President Watts reconvened the meeting into open session at 10:18 p.m. and adjourned at 10:19 p.m.
