The Construction Trades class, along with the Auto/Welding/Construction Club, have been building different size and style planter boxes and a 7'x8' shed.

The Automotive Classes, along with the Auto/Welding/Construction Club, have been working to complete our 5.3L, 5.7L, 2.8L, and 5.0L engines.

Our Welding Class students are still practicing brazing our three basic joints (lap, butt, tee). They are just now starting on measuring, cutting, and designing a metal box.

The WHS Agriculture Classes have been busy this semester. Students are excited to be back in class and in the greenhouse. 

• Floral students have completed boutonnieres, bud vases, and hand held bouquets and are revving up for the Holiday season with pumpkin and cornucopia arrangements. 
• Floral Management students have taken the lead on the $10 Tuesday special available each week for purchase by staff. They have also designed and prepared for the big Homecoming Court order.
• Horticulture has been busy in the greenhouse learning the basics of propagation, asexual reproduction, and pest management, and are excited to be growing and managing plants in the greenhouse in preparation for the annual plant sale.
• Advanced Horticulture has set up two of the new hydroponics systems and are currently growing lettuce, basil, and cilantro.
• FFA members are preparing for regionals in Prepared and Extemporaneous Speech, and Employability Skills. 
• Career Choices students have each completed a profession level series of emails, Resume, Cover Letter, Request for Letters of Recommendation, Voicemail recording, Application, and are currently working on Interview Skills.
