● We have completed our first two weeks of in person learning. Teachers are smiling and enjoying having students back in the building. It has been smooth except for a few students coming on the wrong day.
● Our carpool pick up area has a new system in place. We are having students stand socially distanced and in alphabetical order. Families have been given a placard with their students’ names to put in the window and then a para radios ahead so the students are waiting and ready. This has helped move our carpool line along and off of Lewis River Road.
● Student mask wearing has been a success! We have had very few students that have struggled to keep their masks on appropriately. Students are able to take a mask break during recess if they would like to but very few take advantage of that opportunity.
● Our reading interventions will begin on November 17th. Students will be joining their intervention group virtually from their classroom with their Chromebooks and headphones/mics since there is no mixing of cohorts.
