The past month has been full of challenges and triumphs! We have been working hard to ensure everything was ready for our learners which included furniture movement, physical distancing planning, recess training, recess equipment purchasing, and scheduling. The worry and constant change was alleviated the minute our students walked through the door. They were greeted by staff who all had tears of happiness in their eyes and gigantic smiles under their masks. Yale staff are enjoying teaching one grade level at a time and feel they are able to hone in on essential standards.
Our students have been so cooperative and happy to be at school. We pray that everyone stays healthy and we can keep teaching our students face to face.
