North Fork Elementary Report

Teacher Appreciation Week is wrapping up. Our PTSA has done such a wonderful job of involving the community. Our school received lunch for all staff donated by Luckman’s, Crow Moon, and private citizens. We also had an anonymous citizen flower our parking lot with hearts and signs of appreciation. It means so much to our teachers to have community support.

North Fork has had all of the elementary virtual students served through our building this school year. A survey was given to those families, and all but a few are intending to come back in person next school year. Many of the families that started virtual feel safe and have already come back into the building.

Our Spirit Day this month was “Future Me”. Our Kids at Hope program emphasizes looking to the future, and this day helps students think about what they would like to be when they grow up and how to prepare for that career. It’s a great opportunity for students to learn that what they do today impacts their future.
