Woodland Intermediate School Report

Field Day - Our field day was planned by Kelly Leavens and Lucy Russell. We had an abundance of volunteers to staff carnival type games, bouncy houses, face painting, shaved ice, and a bucket dump booth. The fire department closed the event down with a shower to cool us off. It was a wonderful event.
Reconfiguration - Overall, the process of reconfiguration has gone smooth. At North Fork, we have 13 out of 24 teachers moving rooms, and 10 of those teachers are moving to a different grade. Scott and his crew are in the process of moving furniture and boxes. Teachers have already been meeting with their new teams to plan for next year. I am impressed with my staff and their willingness to embrace change with a positive attitude.
End of Year Field trips - The 2nd-grade classes enjoyed OMSI. The 3rd-grade classes experienced the Lelooska Longhouse, and 4th grade learned about Fort Vancouver.
