CITIZENS REQUESTS TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS

Shari Conditt addressed the school board on behalf of all the Woodland Public School teachers. She expressed their gratefulness and gratitude for the recent labor-management discussions and the certificated salaries increase that came from the meetings. The school board thanked Shari for sharing and thanked all the teachers for their commitment to students.

PUBLIC HEARING

Resolution 18-05 General Fund Budget Extension

Director Watts opened a public hearing at 5:44 p.m.

Stacy Brown presented the recommendation regarding resolution 18-05 to the school board. The board members asked a few clarifying questions.

There was no public comment.

President Watts closed the hearing at 5:46 pm.

PUBLIC COMMENT ON WORK SESSION TOPIC

There was no public comment.

WORKSHOP

Stacy Brown, Executive Director of Business Services, presented a PowerPoint presentation to the school board on the 2018-2019 budget.  She started by saying the budget, as in past years, was very interesting and challenging to put together. She provided a lot of detailed information, which included historical fund balance summary, revenue and expenditure increases from 2017-18, levy dollars expenditures comparison for the last two years and enrollment details.
