A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Woodland School District No. 404, Cowlitz and Clark Counties, Washington, authorizing financial support for the Network for Excellence in Washington Schools (NEWS) in enforcing the Washington Supreme Court’s public education rulings in the McCleary v. State case.
We have been a member district of NEWS since 2010. In order to continue funding their advocacy efforts on behalf of Washington School Districts they annually assess a voluntary fee of $1 per student to member districts. We have twice paid this fee.
