Director and Legislative Representative Steve Madsen will be attending the annual WSSDA Legislative Assembly. The Assembly is in Spokane on the last weekend in September. The purposes of the assembly are to 1) educate representatives regarding current legislation and the work of WSSDA in advocating on behalf of children and schools in the state, and, 2) determine the advocacy priorities of WSSDA as they work with lawmakers to pass legislation.
The purpose of this item will be to provide input to Director Madsen regarding the Woodland School Board's priorities so he can represent your voice in Spokane.
