Port of Woodland: Bob Wile, Paul Cline, Jennifer Wray-Keene and Dale Boone.
City of Woodland: Mayor Will Finn, Pete Boyce, Travis Goddard, Mari Ripp, Janice Graham, and Monte Smith.
Others: Rob Rich, Janise Fisher and Trish Huddleston.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Will Finn called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Mayor Finn invited the three WQCC entities to give an update on what was happening within each. Following the entity updates Mayor Finn opened to questions from participants and others present.
There was discussion of industrial and residential development in the community. The Port has been active in developing land and it is expected that there will be a significant increase in family -wage jobs in Woodland as the Port sells land and develops property.
The city is expecting that approximately 329 new residences to be developed in Woodland in the coming two to three years. (189 apartments & 190 single family residences).
