The board took a couple of moments to recognize and thank the student representative, Camila Avelar for her time and participation the last two years.

WORKSHOP

Multi-Tiered System of Support – Tier 1 and Tier 2

Asha Riley and Malinda Huddleston presented to the school board on Tier 1 and Tier 2 literacy programs in the district.  The purpose of the presentation was to provide directors with a deeper understanding of the interconnected curriculum, instruction, and academic programs and supports.  The board of directors asked clarifying questions.

President Watts will represent at the TEAM commencement and Director Wray will represent at the WHS commencement.

Resolution 21-04 Academic and Student Well Being Recovery Plan

Asha Riley and Jake Hall provide a basic summary of the recovery plan and the reasoning behind the plan. The plan will need to be submitted to OSPI by June 1^st and any update to the plan will be done in November and February.
