CALL TO ORDER
President Watts called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
APPROVAL OF BOARD ABSENCES
Director Donald moved to approve the absence of Director Madsen.

PUBLIC COMMENT ON WORK SESSION TOPIC
There was no public comment.
CONSENT AGENDA
Director Beuscher moved to approve the consent agenda.
ACTION ITEMS
Resolution 19-3 Reduced Educational Program for 2019-2020
Director Donald moved to adopt Resolution 19-3 as presented.
WORKSHOP
This month the workshop was on Life, College & Career Readiness. The leadership team has been doing a deep exploration of this topic and have developed a draft set of indicators that they presented to the school board directors.
Michael Green started with a PowerPoint introductory presentation, and then the meeting was split into three groups; All Students Ready for LIFE, All Students Ready for CAREERS, and All Students Ready for COLLEGE. Members of the leadership team led table discussions on the indicators to help all participants develop a strong understanding of the indicators and how they can be a useful tool for schools and parents alike.
Following the presentation of the indicators, the board discussed the work and expressed excitement for the work moving forward.
A formal resolution will be presented at the May regular board meeting for final review and proposed adoption of the indicators.
