On April 25th, a committee convened to develop the calendar for the 2020-2021 school year and discuss adjustments to the 2019-2020 school year calendar.
The 2019-2020 calendar needed to add two additional professional learning days. In addition, the team shifted a professional learning day that was embedded in the year to the beginning of the year, replacing it with a snow makeup day, and shifted spring break to align with Evergreen School District so that our Cascadia Tech Academy students received a spring break too.
The 2020-2021 calendar is proposed with the caveat that the spring break in 2021 will be aligned to the Cascadia Tech (Evergreen SD) once that is determined by Evergreen.
Attached please find the calendars developed by the committee with a recommendation for approval by the School Board.
