Supporting Independent Study Skills:
Recently we held a workshop for students and parents to support home study skills. During the workshop families collaborated on strategies they use to successfully achieve their weekly learning goals. Our teachers also shared some study skill recommendations and introduced a rubric families can use to support their kids improved independent study skills at home. As a result many families were excited to continue the dialogue and we are hosting a second session this week to help kids use their google calendars to map out their goals and daily lessons.
