June13 — Athletic Programs
The purpose of these presentations it first and formost to enrich the board members' understanding of the programs and schools. To that end we will plan on delivering fairly detailed overviews of each of the schools and programs that address, through a lens of desired outcomes for kids. We are still developing the framework for the presentations and want, as a starting point, to have the school board brainstorm the information you would like to understand from presentations. These may be best posed in the form of a question:
"What is your historical graduation rate?"
"What programs do you have to engage parents?"
"What are the biggeest challenges you face in improving student learning?"
"What steps are you taking to be prepared and respond in the event of a natural disaster, such as an earthquake?"
