March 2nd Read Across America Day:
Our annual Dr. Seuss Day was a fabulous start to a month-long reading challenge at Yale. The kids wore their PJs, and guests came to read with them, and Randi served green eggs and ham for a treat. The students are now working to meet their reading goals for the month of March. We look forward to celebrating their success with a party provided by our PTO.
The goals are as follows.
Kindergarten: 350 minutes 3rd Grade: 550 minutes
1st Grade: 400 minutes 4th Grade: 650 minutes
2nd Grade: 450 minutes 5th Grade: 750 minutes
