RE: April Summary of Teaching and Learning
During the month of April, WMS staff spent time on Mondays looking at the Hess Matrix, collaboratively designing lessons, and discussing student work. The 8th grade mathematics and science teachers modeled a lesson for the staff.
April was the month where every English and mathematics teacher walked their students through the Smarter Balanced Assessment tutorials. Students have had three exposures to performance tasks in English and mathematics. We are ready to go!
