In the fall of 2012, the KWRL school boards had a joint meeting at which it was decided to move forward with the KWRL remodel and construction of the Paradise Point parking facility. The boards negotiated a resolution that was subsequently approved by each of the four boards. A key element of the agreement, one that was negotiated between Woodland and Ridgefield, was the shared financial responsibility for all costs associated with future renovation and expansion of the shared KWRL facilities (Woodland maintenance facility, Paradise Point Lot); as well as future maintenance, repair, minor renovation, and other costs (such as environment cleanup) now and in the future of the Cooperative.
Jim Bays suggested we consider incorporating that language into the KWRL agreeement. The superintendents of each of the KWRL districts have agreed to recommend to their board the attached revision to the agreement. Also, you can see the area changed in the REDLINE version.
