It is anticipated that when we bring the new WHS online in the fall of 2015 there will be additional expenses associated with operation. (utiliities, insurance, staffing, etc.) A conservative estimate of the impact is in the neighborhood $500,000-$650,000.
The levy that expires at the end of 2014 is $3,400,000. It is recommended that the board propose to the voters a three-year M&O levy with a flat collection amount of $3,950,000 in each of the three years (2015-2018)
In September the board reviewed information demonstrating Woodland's historically conservative M&O requests. over the last several years the levy requests increased $150,000 per year.
