Monday mornings in February have been devoted to department time, Student-led conferences, and WHS/MWS/WIS forecasting.  During March the preparation for forecasting and scheduling students will continue, culminating in their student-led conference. 

WMS sponsored two “no-bully” weeks in February.  Both weeks have in-class education about bullying.  The first week focused on victims and bystanders.  The second week focused on cyber-bullying and Officer Gillespie from WPD came and provided information to students.  Additionally, Kelly Sloniker and LaJune Thorson have been hosting Parent U, which is a web based program on bullying topics and technology. 

WMS finished its second round of the Collaborative Academic Support Team (CAST).  This process has really forced us to create data driven classroom based assessments and look at data in regards to academics. 

March will be a quick month with student-led conferences, forecasting, and MSP on-line training occurring.
