DISCUSSION ITEMS
Capital Facilities
The Board discussed building community consensus about capital facilities projects with DLR Group. They discussed financial options with Jon Gores of DA Davidson Co. and other miscillaneous capital facilities items with Doug Nichols. They instructed Michael to move forward with planning for a Spring 2011 High School bond election.
Yale School
The Board reviewed information about Yale School with Deb Kernen and Mark Houk. They discussed 2009-2010 plans and desired outcomes for Yale School. Steve Madsen said that he plans to attend PTA meetings at Yale and discuss with the community there, how they view the Yale School facility and its role in the Yale community. He hopes to find out what the Yale community thinks of their student scores and get input about their vision of the future of Yale School.
Board Self-Evaluation
The Board discussed their annual self-evaluation.
Purchasing
The Board discussed and reviewed, with Stacy Brown, the District's purchasing practices and new processes that are being implemented in efforts to increase efficiency.
Board Goals
The Board reviewed their goals and the progress that has been met through strategies implemented throughout the year. They discussed updating strategies. Michael will update the strategies and bring them to the first Board meeting in October for approval.

Board President, Jim Bays, adjourned the meeting of the Board of Directors at 8:00pm.
