This is the first reading of a new policy 6883- Closure of School Facilities. You will remember community member Eric Reese communicated with the board that we needed to have this policy in order to consider closure of any school facility. We did not. The recommendation for this policy is NOT in preparation or anticipation of any closure. Rather it is prudent, in my estimation, to have this on our collection of policies.
