It has been another smooth start at Yale Elementary. This year, Neil Morrisseau has joined our school and is teaching second grade as well as some first grade science and social studies.
Once again our former 4th grade students chose to attend 5th grade with the rest of Woodland students at Woodland Middle School this year, so we only have K- 4 students attending Yale.
This means Mrs. Tevlin only has 3rd and 4th grade students in her classroom, making lesson planning much more feasible. Mrs. Cortez continues to work with our Kindergarten and 1st grade students and has also picked up planning our Learning Assistance Program. This means she will also be ensuring our students who struggle in reading and math will be receiving timely interventions and support.
