As in years past each month I plan to provide you with information on each of the different support service programs we currently provide in the district.
The Highly Capable program began classes the first week of school transporting 24 fifth & sixth graders to WMS. The program is being taught by Tim & Shar Brown 4 days a week. I've attached the results of the Hi C Program Parent Surveys collected last June. As you can see we have some very positive responses.
This year I will be doing some analysis of some differences in what OSPI expects our numbers of Hi C students served should be and what we are able to provide. It may be that we need to open an additional recruiting window and stagger our services to get our numbers up next year. More on that later............
