The results of the PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory showed a couple of areas that need some work at Yale. We sent Sarah Taylor to the NW PBIS conference to get some ideas. She shared at our last staff meeting and a plan is now in place to reteach behavioral expectations and implement a schoolwide reward system. The Yale staff is eager to see improvements and reward students for positive behaviors. We plan to work with our PTO to help implement the reward part of the plan.
The Yale Community Garden group is getting started with students to beautify the garden and teach basic gardening skills to our students.
Our staff is preparing to conference with as many families as possible next week. We are excited to share students’ strengths as well as discuss next steps for academics.
