RE: Yale Elementary Report
We did it! We’ve made it through COVID, which means we can make it through anything, right? What an amazing year of growth for students and staff. We look forward to the Fall and getting back to some of our pre-covid routines!
Students have completed Spring assessments and the data shows growth! We aren’t where we want to be YET, but we expect next year will be an extreme success. Plans are in place to provide a multisensory reading intervention called Barton next year. This is exciting news, and we are grateful for the opportunity to add interventions at our school. We have several students registered for our summer school program and we look forward to watching their continued growth.
Kindergarten graduation will be held for the first time this year. We have 16 kindergarten students which is more than we’ve had in the past. We plan to celebrate them along with their families on Monday, June 20th. We will host a slide show, diplomas, graduation caps, and cookies.
I’m thankful for the upcoming weeks of rest for my staff. They’ve been an amazing team this past couple of years and they deserve a huge break.
