Automotive students are getting close to start wiring the t-bucket project.

Sean Barton placed 1st and Josh Hilker placed 2nd in Automotive Service Technology State Skills USA competition and are headed to nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. They will compete at the Leadership & Skills Conference from June 20 - 24, 2022.

Construction Trades students are making planter boxes for the plant sale.

Over Spring Break, our Applied Math teacher, Jen Benedict, visited the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs to speak with two of the professors (Dr. Brant and Mr. Colombi) who helped with Applied Math Projects written in the current curriculum framework.

Mr. Colombi has supported Ms. Benedict’s goal to do a rocketry unit which students will complete in the coming weeks.

Dr. Brant provided the Engineering 100 course that was a foundation for the framework of Applied Math. Both of them have helped flush out materials and course delivery.

Our Advanced Floral students made Easter Arrangements.

Our Woodland High School’s 32nd Annual WHS FFA Plant Sale is back IN PERSON this year!

It will be open to the public on Friday, April 29, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Additional information can also be found on our website.

Our Student Store is up and running! Our Marketing Students are responsible for the prep work to set up the Student Store for the day and getting all the students their lunches.

The Marketing Class has been learning all about the four elements of visual merchandising.  One of their projects was to create a new eye-catching window display for the student store.

The yearbook deadline was this last Saturday and the book is now in printing.  There will be a supplement that students will receive in the Fall with events that happen after the deadline through the last part of the year.

Digital Arts students took advantage of the beautiful blooms we had around the school and took some stunning pictures and then applied corrections and desired modifications in photoshop.
