Lunch Buddies Program

We were able to recruit 14 community members for our Lunch Buddy Program and it started this week at Woodland Intermediate School.

Health Care

Partnered with district nurse to identify students that returned health questionnaires indicating students were without health insurance.   Sea Mar came for 3 hours and registered 3 families that needed coverage. Then followed up with 11 other families and sent information and made phone calls to ensure they had the coverage and resources needed.

Help Us Move In

Working with Love Overwhelming and Woodland Action to get more funds in our area for families needing move-in costs for housing.  This will require a campaign to local businesses and organizations but this is much needed in Woodland.   We only have a few housing programs and we need more funds to support our families when they are experiencing a housing crisis.
