Winter sports are winding down…

HS Boys’ Basketball

1. Regular season summary
   1. Varsity record 9-3 League, 13-5 Overall (2^nd in league)
   2. JV record 2-10 League, 5-11 Overall
   3. C record 0-11League, 0-13 Overall

2. Post season summary
1. Played in the district championship game vs. Mark Morris and lost 64-53.
2. Will be playing on Saturday, February 25^th at 4pm vs. Foss (at Battleground HS) in the first round of regionals.

HS Girls’ Basketball

1. Regular season summary
   1. Varsity record 7-5 League, 12-8 Overall (3^rd in league)
   2. JV record 3-8 League, 8-9 Overall
2. Post season summary
   1. After dropping their district opener to WF West, the Lady Beavers rebounded to beat Tumwater.
   2. They lost their 3^rd district game to Mark Morris – which ended their season.

HS Wrestling

1. We sent quite a few athletes to regionals, with 4 making it out of regionals to qualify for state.
   1. Josiah Sanders (3^rd), Sebastian Martinez (4^th) and Ashlyn Daugherty (1^st) all qualified, with Jacob Flanagan (5^th) going as an alternate.
   2. Ashlyn Daugherty became our first female wrestler ever to place in state with her 5^th place finish.
   3. Josiah Sanders and Sebastian Martinez wrestled tough but did not medal.

HS Dance and Cheer

1. Our team has qualified for districts in 3 events: hip hop, pom and show. Districts are March 11^th at Mt. View High School. State is on March 24^th in Yakima at the Sundome.

3. Spring sports begin February 27.
4. Our interest surveys show a real interest for soccer at the middle school level. This is something we are exploring for the 2017-18 school year since we have the facilities already in place.
