Things continue to run smoothly out at Yale. We had short power outage one day but the utility company was able to quickly resolve the matter, lunch was on time and learning continued.
Kim and Kyle continue to do excellent job of teaching and collaborating with the support staff. They have specifically reviewed the reading program/schedule and with the help of Mo Anderson analyzed how to best utilize staff to deliver leveled reading instruction to all K-5 students.
We held our first Collaborative Academic Student Team meeting of the year. Our teachers greatly appreciated all the input they received from our specialists (Counselor, Reading Specialist, Speech Therapist, Psychologist, and Instructional Assistants) regarding some of our struggling learners.
