Re Yale:
As usual Yale continues to run smoothly. We expect that next year our 3-5 classroom will have an unusually large class size (28 kids), which will prove difficult for Mr. Niekamp to effectively instruct. Three grade levels in one classroom is an instructional challenge; add to the mix an extremely large class size and it is nearly impossible to successfully do. Therefore, I have requested an additional .5 staffing next year. I believe this one-year staffing addition will ensure all kids in grades 3-5 achieve the learning expected.
The kids are excited to participate in the Fun Run fundraiser Tuesday afternoon.
