RE: Yale Elementary Report
This month our school garden is opening again! We have volunteers who are spending time with students to clean it up, plant seeds, and tend to the garden. We haven’t had this opportunity since COVID, and we are thrilled our students get this opportunity and that our garden will be presentable again.
Student learning is our top priority with just two months left of this school year. Our 3rd and 4th grade students are continuing to prepare for the state assessment. They are working with partners on practice items, getting feedback and earning prizes. They are excited about this model and it’s creating momentum for the testing that will happen in May.
Our students and staff are looking forward to attending the LeLooska Cultural Center the first week in May. The bussing and tickets were paid for by a large donation from Advanced Electric Signs. We are so grateful.
