We won the whole thing! It was amazing to watch it all come together at state for our girls… they peaked at the right time and won themselves a state title. Here is the link to a highlight video of their season: https://vimeo.com/275863316

Track and Field

Alex Bishop finished 2^nd in the high jump with a school record tying jump of 6’6”, Nicole Guthrie placed 4^th in the high jump, Isaac Hall was 4^th in the state in the triple jump, Tyler Flanagan 5^th in state in the 110 high hurdles and Damon Holland 6^th in state in the shot put.

Other

1. The 7^th annual Sports Recognition Banquet was well attended and really was a great night. Levi Orem and Natalie Biddix were recognized as our scholar athletes of the year, McKenna Flanagan and Jacob Flanagan were our RUDY award winners and Nicole Guthrie and Tyler Flanagan were the female and male athletes of the year. We also recognized our all-league athletes, multi-sport athletes, athletes that are playing at the college level, individual and team accomplishments and records… as well as a top 10 plays of the year video that you can watch here: https://vimeo.com/274751183

2. Beaver Strength begins the Monday after school gets out and is open to all WSD students grade 7-12… so far we have well over 100 kids signed up. DJ Malinowski does an amazing job with this program.
