Review and discussion of School Board & Superintendent operating principles.

Policy 1620 discusses the Board and Superintendent Relationship.  In the summer of 2007, the school board and superintendent developed a set of operating prinicples that serve to provide additional clarity to the roles, responsibilities, and relationships between the board, board members, and the superintendent.  The board periodically reviews these principles and, as appropriate, ammends them.

The purpose of this agenda item is two-fold:

1. Develop a common understanding and clarity of the operating principles.
2. Offer and discuss any modificaitons to the principles.
