WSD Athletics Board Report

November 5, 2014

HS Football

1. Varsity record (5-1 league, 8-1 overall)
   i.      Finished 2^nd in League, playing WF West in district crossover at Kalama (11/7).
2. JV record (4-2 league, 5-3 overall).

HS Volleyball

1. Varsity record (9-3  league, 11-3 overall).
   i.      Finished 2^nd in league, playing Black Hills in first round of district tournament (11/6)
2. JV record (5-7 league, 5-9 overall).

HS Girls’ Soccer

1. Varsity record (4-8 league, 8-8 overall)
   i.      Finished 5^th place in league and did not qualify for post season.
2. JV record (3-7 league, 4-7 overall)

HS Cross Country

1. Our boys’ team finished 2^nd in league and our girls finished 4^th.

      i.      We are sending 4 runners to Pasco for the state championships.

      ii.      Natalie Biddix (5^th), Matt Young (7^th), Nathan Patterson (11^th), and McKenna Flanagan (15^th)

HS Boys’ Golf

1. Varsity finished 2^nd in league, but went on to win 2^nd consecutive district title!

      i.      We will be sending 4 to state in the spring.

      ii.      Ryan Sturdivan (2^nd), Hayden Huddleston (3^rd), Magnus Lovaas (12^th) and Jon Watts

MS Football

1. 8^th grade finished 6-0
2. 7^th grade finished 6-0

MS Volleyball

1. 8^th grade won the 8^th grade tournament!

3. MS Winter Sports have begun – excellent turnouts in MS GBB (3 teams) and Wrestling has 42 turning out.
